| The Imam Al-Maturidi Mausoleum project in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, involves the design, handmade production, and installation of traditional Islamic ceramic tiles for the dome and exterior facade, inspired by historic Central Asian architecture. This handcrafted tilework features seven-color tiles, mosaic techniques, and glazed clay finishes, carefully executed to preserve the spiritual and architectural heritage of one of Samarkand’s most significant Islamic monuments. The project reflects authentic Islamic tile craftsmanship, combining traditional methods with precise architectural execution to ensure durability, historical accuracy, and visual harmony with the sacred mausoleum structure. |
