Handmade Tile Manufacturing Method Statement:
Moarragh (Moarragh 3D) ceramic tile panels, consists of cut pieces of tiles with varied designs and colors put side by side to form a symmetrical complex. These tiles have the unique features of being conveniently modified by tools. They are all produced from soft soil or solid tile. The same seven-color designs with little technical changes are cut of the paper and each part of the design is stick by glue to the same color of the tile. The extra parts are cut by adze (by hand and in some cases such as repeated angular shapes, thy will be cut by a special machine). They are put beside each other and are spread inside out on a flat surface.
Moagheli ceramic tiles manufacturing and installation are the same as Moarragh tiles, but the ceramic pieces are square shapes and it is the square tiles that form the Moagheli's design. Since all shapes are angular, we use special cutter machine beside hand work.
Polychromic / Special Seven Color Tiles: is usually produced from pieces by sizes 15 x 15, 20 x 20 and 25 x 25 centimeter (and in some cases the size customizes in 25 x 45 and 25 x 50 centimeter), also seven color tiles which are used for minarets and domes may have 7.5 x 15 or 10 x 20 centimeter in white color. These tiles are put beside each other and the design is engraved on a paper, before that it is copied on a tile by coal powder. The tile is carved by manganese oxide, then it is painted in different colors by hand, but the temperature during the action is lower than the first painting. Then, the tile is moved to the kiln and will fired up to 1100 centigrade (depends on the glaze and inside color types) and prepared for installation.
